number one delivery is essentially where you're on your bike delivering food
and ride around from restaurant to
customer delivering food
and you get paid for it so deliveries pros
are that it's a great way to exercise
and earn at the same time it's so easy
to do
the only downside i would say with deliveroo is the sign up time
so it usually takes well for me it took
about two months to
sign up uh just because they need to get
you approved and there's
quite a slow application process um but
once you're on once you're on the app it's dead easy to
get going uh another benefit of it is
that it's
very easy to pick up work on a friday
saturday and sunday they're always packed and you'll always get a good amount of orders another negative of it is that you might have it where you're working in the rain and the cold and it's just a bit miserable but another plus side to it is that if it's miserable weather generally speaking most riders won't be on so you'll have plenty of orders so yeah it's a great way to make money i think i've made about 500 pounds over two months and that's just from doing it on a friday night each week so that's what literally once a week and i made 500 pounds over two months which ain't bad that's really quite good so i think the only potential why you're talking about 100 to 400 pounds a month and depending on how many days you do in the week but certainly it's it's a very good time so in at number
two we have local services
now local services essentially is just
like gardening cleaning any sort of
maintenance that you could do
like a handyman um there's loads and
loads of loads different jobs you can
find out there you can just even window cleaning um it'svery very simple ideas that just don't take much effort
or skill that people just can't be
bothered with doing on the weekends
because they just don't have time or
whatever
so this is another great way to make
money the only
thing i'd say is that a lot of people
are doing it so there's a lot of
competition
it's very hard to break into um
initially but a positive about it is that you
could retain customers
it's very easy to advertise through word
of mouth um very easy to get online on
facebook
instagram things like that will get
noticed um so that's one of the main benefits of it and you could do something that you actually enjoy I know a lot of people actually like gardening myself I don't but yeahyou might like gardening I don't know carvalho seems to be a very popular one called detailing it's very profitable um but obviously you have to have a passion for it otherwise you're not
going to be very good at it so yeah anything that you've got a passion for just go ahead hand out flyers leaflets anything like that seriously you can make some really good money and if you're really really good at it you could turn that into a full-time job so instead of doing your nine-to-five month is friday you turn that side muscle into a fully functioning business
essentially so yeah it's a great possibility it's very very good it's a proven method lots and lots of people do it and i certainly, recommend it coming in at number three we have scalping now before everyone slags me off in the comments I am not advertising this scalping and I'm not endorsing it whatever it's a very subjective method of making money on the side but it's very very profitable and
currently right now is absolutely taken off so essentially what scalping is is buying from retailers with products
that are going to go out of stock or in very very high demand and selling it on a premium on sites like ebay gumtree facebook any of that spock and essentially charging them people are premium just because you have the product a good an example recently of this has been the xbox series x and the playstation 5. um essentially the retailer has been putting it online up for sale 450 pounds whereas people have been buying them going they go out of stock people can't get them so they list them on ebay and country facebook or the whole shebang for 700 to 800 pounds making them 350 pounds profit is absolutely crazy ethically probably not right because people actually want these products for instance, i've got a friend who's
really really into pc gaming and that type of stuff and he cannot get hold of pc stuff because scalpers are buying all of these products to sell on a premium so you can understand it from his perspective that it's frustrating that he's trying to build his pc but he can't because people are just there to make money out of it but on the other side of the argument you really can you just
disagree that it is business supply and demand the probably the main issue here is that the people who are buying these products with a premium they're probably the issue so it swings swinging roundabouts really you might find it unethical and you just think wow I'm not doing that or you could think bloody hell you can make some real money off this I know that person have made anywhere between 100 to thousands each month another good example was in the first lockdown in the uk they were selling buying and selling hot tubs um and there are a lot of groups that are set up you just google them scalping groups and they charge a monthly fee and essentially what they do is they send you notifications to your phone and what they do is that as soon as a the retailer has any stock you get the first notification you go into the retail you buy that the
product you sell it on a premium very very simple very very profitable way of making inside income however, it is very very unethical and just whatever way you look at it a lot of people are yeah they get pissed off by people doing it
and if you do try and get into scalping be sure that you're going to get abused um
daily um so yeah it's a great way to make money but whether you do it
or not is up to you in a number four, we have car boot sales and charity shops and essentially just looking for items that you think you're going to sell
on for more generally speaking charities seem to have very good clothing brands in there that they just don't know what's worth what shoes as well they tend to sell really well and it's just again it's just
picking up bargains and selling them on
for it on ebay for massive profit, i've seen a lot of people doing it on youtube and they made some serious money but I myself I haven't really got the time to go around and looking around shops but you
don't know you may have the time I just personally don't I'd rather do it on other things but it is a great way to make money i'm not just saying that clothes is the only thing they sell lots of things like kitchen appliances and things like that that seems to be quite popular thing as well so yeah another great way to make money uh ebay fees things like that
obviously you've got to take in the factor um when selling it on uh but yeah great way to make money is a proven method people have been doing it for years and yeah
definitely recommend it and that's why it's number four in at number five is probably my the favorite method that i've been doing for
ages and it is so so good I can't believe what not more people are doing it, to be honest with you but it is essentially buying and selling old shoes on ebay and d pop and then selling them on just doing them up a little bit and then selling them up now the way the main type of trainer that I've been flipping for ages
is the air force one's white so essentially what I've been doing is
buying them when they're used filtering it on ebay
used um size eight nine ten uh the most popular sizes
and having a look at them if they're in decent condition i'd usually put a bid
on them never buy it now because obviously, people are looking for quite a high price on the bike nails always go on the auctions and essentially all you're doing is you're looking for the jews that you think are clean them up stick them in the bloody washing machine whatever you want to do use that jason mark product whatever it is put some new laces on and put some new soles in there just refreshing the shoes and set them on you can make a ton of money off this like initially you won't make a huge amount of money but it's a really great way to get these shoes recycled always opportunity to get these shoes I had loads of these pairs in the past so i'm going to try and chuck some pictures of the before and afters and generally speaking I usually buy them anywhere between 15 20 pounds and I've been selling them at 35 to 40 pounds taking into account ebay fees and things like that you're probably making about 15 to 20 pounds per shoe and profit if you did it seriously and you did it like you picked up three four pairs a week that's what 80 to 100 pounds a week of four pairs of trainers so then it's like 400 500 pounds a month of just all those pairs of trainers so it's a great great way to make money I'm not just saying that the the only shoes you should do on these nike air force ones you can do it off absolutely any drainers that you think will sell on that you can just do up a little bit clean them up and just sell them on for a bit of profit it's a great great way to make money it's always going to be about very simplistic the only downside i probably would say is that sometimes you can get caught out with the images so they might the shoes may look a lot better than they actually are
uh and the other thing is probably that you're gonna be dealing with shoes and someone else has a warning
